Shakira up for 13 Billboard Latin Music Awards!

Great news! Shakira has been nominated for an amazing 13 awards at this year's Billboard Latin Music Awards, including Artist of the year, Latin Album of the year for "Sale el Sol" and Hot Latin Songs Artist of the year, female.

The ceremony will air live on April 28 from the BankUnited Center at the University of Miami on the Telemundo network and in more than 35 countries around the world. For the full list of nominations, click here.

We're very pleased to report that, earlier today, Shakira passed one billion views on YouTube, making her one of only a handful of artists to have achieved this amazing feat.

The views were gathered across Shakira's three official YouTube channels (/shakira, /shakiravevo and /shakirasme) - with the Spanish and English versions of the video for last year's World Cup anthem, Waka Waka, accounting for more than 300 million of the views.

"I'm really happy to hear the news," said Shakira. "One billion views around the world is an unthinkable number and more than I could ever have dreamed of."
