Shakira, the #1 She-Wolf, does Vanity Fair to promote her new album of the same name dropping on October 13th. With the success of her highest debut with the lead single on the Billboard charts, giving her the 8th #1 on Billboard Hot Latin Songs, and 10th #1 on the Latin Pop Songs, she is following suit to have her next-English album debut high upon the charts.

Shakira is the best-selling South American artist of this decade with more than 50 million albums sold worldwide, and being the first South American to have a #1 in the US, UK and Australia.

The winner will then be selected by Shakira herself! One grand prize winner will receive the new Final Cut Studio, a $2,000 Apple giftcard, plus signed Shakira merch and CDs. Loba is eighth wonder!

We're very pleased to report that Loba (the Spanish version of She Wolf) has hit Number One in the Billboard Latin Songs chart. This is actually Shakira's eighth Latin Number One in the US. Amazing.

Shakira to help judge CNN Hero of the Year

This Thanksgiving, Nov 26th, CNN will announce the 2009 “CNN Hero of the Year” and honor the Top Ten CNN Heroes in a star-studded gala celebration from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. We're pleased to report that Shakira has been named as one of the Blue Ribbon Panel who will judge the awards. Other panelists include Colin Powell, Sir Elton John, Ted Turner and Mariane Pearl. The broadcast will air globally on CNN, CNN International and CNN en Espanol.
