There's light at the end of the tunnel guys! Shakira is finally writing songs in Spanish and will be releasing her Sale el Sol album in November.
We're proud of Shakira for a lot of reasons, but her She Wolf phase made us roll our eyes. Still, we keep supporting her and wishing for the best, and our patience might pay off. The Colombian singer is finally treating her Spanish fans with some old school songwriting in her upcoming release Sale El Sol (out November 2, same day as Ricky's book!). The album will feature a few collaborations but we're most excited for 'Mi Gordita,' the song with Calle 13.
Shakira was also recently seen shooting a new music video for the song 'Loca' in Barcelona and of course she's not wearing very much other than a bikini top, skirt and roller skates.
Check out her performance of 'Sale El Sol' at Rock in Rio, the song is pretty formulaic and we can tell she's trying to get us old fans back, but Shaki gets points for effort and dedicating this song to Gustavo Cerati.
